Hello! My name is Dr. Barbara Thompson-Punch. The founder,
pioneer, and Pastor of "Opportunity Christian Miracle Church, Inc." and "Barbara Punch Ministries." It is my belief
that every person should take advantage of the opportunity to know Jesus Christ, His saving power, and develop
a relationship with Him. He will not only save you, he will HEAL YOU and PROSPER YOU. Along, with this, he offers
you other benefits that are found in His Word. Therefore, I encourage each individual to read and study the Holy Bible, so
you will know what these benefits are. Read the Scriptures Out Loud in your private study of the Word, because
FAITH COMES by HEARING, and HEARING by the WORD of God.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of this ministry is to "Win Souls" to the Kingdom
of God and "Build Leaders" to continue the Great Commission.
OUR MISSION
The
mission of this ministry is to empower people with the Word of God for a victorious life; and to focus
on nine (9) basic things.
1. Thanksgiving - We enter into
his gates with thanksgiving. - Psalms 95:4; 100:4, (Sometimes we include testimonies).
2. Praise -
We go into HIS courts with praise for Him.
3. Worship - We worship
God for who He is, because He is God.
4. Preaching -
We preach the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2); because it is the Word that changes lives; and the Holy Spirit
draws the people to Christ. We believe that the answer to all problems are in the Word of God.
5. Teaching - We teach
the Bible (the Word of God), and for people to have "Faith in God's Word", not man, nor the dailly news on TV,
or the newspapers and magazines.
6. Healing
for the Sick - We teach what the Word says about healing. It is our belief that it is
God's will to heal you and deliver you from bondage and oppression. Sometimes, we will lay hands on the sick (Mark 16:18);
and anoint you with oil, as written in James 5:14-15 (KJV). Also, "The Spiritual Gifts" in (I Corinthians 12:1-10) are
sometimes used.
7. Pray - We
pray as it is stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14; and James 5:15-16.
8.
Impartation - We impart knowledge
to believers so they can duplicate and win more souls to the Kingdom. The Scripture says that "people are destroyed for
the lack of knowledge." - Hosea 4:6. (The knowledge you know and put in action is very powerful).
9. Sowing
Seeds - People get blessed when they sow seeds for the sake of the Gospel.
You sow money, you get money back. You
sow love, you get love back. You sow clothes, you get more clothes back, and etc. So just SOW! Store
up seeds of love in your "Heavenly Bank Account!"
OUR VISION
People will come from the North, East, South, and West, to hear the
Word of God from this ministry; locally, nationally and in different Nations around the world. Each person that partners with
us from each location, will WIN at least (1) soul a day, and duplicate our purpose, and continue our mission; and to God be
the Glory!
